About Us

FAITH HOUSE

We present the gospel of Jesus Christ not as another religion but as a relationship between a loving Father and His children. It is our desire to have our community experience God’s love and saving grace in very practical ways. We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ lights up hope and heals the world; and we are out to serve and demonstrate this to our community.
We are also focused on building men and equipping them to live purposeful lives, maximize their potential and impact other lives. Our community inspires us every step of the way.
If you don’t mind being part of a growing family, starting on an adventure with God, or perhaps you are wary of very large crowds, then this is the place for you. Come discover your gifts and put them to use while nurturing closely-knit relationships.

Vision

A multi-cultural community of people of all ages, built up in the faith, and demonstrating their faith through love; people whose transformed lives transform other lives based on the gospel of Christ.

Mission

We exist to bring people to Jesus, build them up in the faith, and equip them to serve God, fulfil purpose and transform society within a vibrant, dynamic and multi-cultural community.

Motto

Our motto- transforming lives through our faith in our saviour - Jesus Christ.

Our core scripture

Gal. 5:6 “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.”

SOME OF OUR BELIEFS

About the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third Person in the TRINITY. He has the same power, the same glory with God the Father and God the Son (John 14:16-17; Matt. 3:16). He teaches, speaks, and bears witness in us. He performs the work of regeneration and endows believers with gifts and abilities. (I Cor. 12:7, Acts 1:8).

About Man

God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, thus transforming him into a living soul (Gen. 2:7).

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

All born-again souls should ask for the Holy Spirit from above, just as the Apostles were ordered to wait in Jerusalem until they were filled from above. It is the promise of the Father. It is God’s gift (Luke 24:49; John 4:14-26; Acts 1:4-5); and enables a believer to speak in tongues (Acts 2:4)

The Second Coming of Christ

Jesus will come again to Earth in glory and the dead in Christ will rise and those who are alive in Christ will be translated into the presence of God for eternity

The Church

The born-again souls are the Church of God (Eph. 1:22; Eph 3:10; 5:24-29). The Church is the assembly of all believers. They accept Christ as the Head of the Church and gather to worship God in truth and Spirit. Their major assignment is to spread the Gospel of Christ to all Nations

The Bible

The entire Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, were written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit (2 Tim. 3: 16-17). We believe that the Bible is the written and revealed Will of God. Heavens and Earth may pass away, but the Word of God stands forever (Deut. 4:22; Matt. 24:34-38).

About God

There is only one God, the creator of both visible and invisible creatures (Gen. 1:1; Ps. 86:9-10; Is. 43:10-11; John 1:1-3).

About Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He took away our sins and is the Saviour of the world. He is God revealed in the flesh. John 1:1-14; Is 9:6; We believe in His death on the Cross, and resurrection, by which He brought redemption – Is. 53:4-10; I Pet. 2:24; Gal. 3:13, Matt. 20:28.

About the Trinity

God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one God, manifested in three persons – they are ONE IN TRINITY (Gen. 1:16-29; Matt. 3:16-17; Matt. 18:19).

Divine Health and Healing

It is possible to be healed through the administration of medicine and through divine intervention (Matt. 4:23; Ps. 103:3). The Lord Jesus has commanded us to go into the world not just to teach His Word to the nations but to also heal the sick (Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 10:1).

Salvation

Salvation is a gift from God by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; that all who believe in Him may be saved from sin and death, trusting in His death and resurrection and are born again by the Holy Spirit.
